Reframe It

Reframe It is a nice variant of Google’s Sidewiki. Reframe it rides on the philosophy of enabling comment feature on any website on the internet (essentially taking control from the content publisher). Once you install the plug-in, you can use it to write & share your comments on public pages, news-sites. Other users can read your comments, while they browse the same pages.

Yoono

Although its primary objective isn’t just social sharing, Yoono is a very handy addition to the above quartet. Yoono is quite magical as it brings everything to your side-bar be it your social network profile, instant messaging application or your search engine.

You can just about do anything, i.e. like or dislike a Facebook message, read articles on Wikipedia and search different types of content from selected databases. As for sharing capabilities, you can share within the networks where you have established a connected.

I have add this and google toolbar in my firefox.
  • IE cannot compete with the rich functionality of FireFox. Microsoft simply had a brain fart when it tried to be progressive and create something new. IE 8 is a mimic and a bad on at that. Ok, not here to bash MS, but, we all know Firefox is a developer and user platform that is miles ahead.

Reframe It is a scary tool and unmodified comments will become a problem. Google does not manage phony abusive reviews for local businesses, how will they?

    That's my 2-Cents.

FYI IE on all of my computers (4) crashes at the least appropriate time and I have nothing but personal problems with Firefox which I have and do use once in a while but I have had problems getting the plugins installed all of this has pushed me to Googles Chrome. I know many that really like Firefox and have nothing but good browsing with it. After reading this article I will give it another try and see if I can get working like it should.

I've been using Yoono for a few weeks now and absolutely love it - it's made my grasp of my multiple social networking logins much easier and keeping in touch with people much more efficient. As it says above, you can do virtually most things through the add-in that you could do on the sites. In addition to that, you can add your news feeds, share links etc easily from it and also has a pretty powerful search function too. Highly recommended.

Nice list.. I've used AddThis for most of my sites and have no complaints with it. I would recommend it to anyone.
  • Personally I'm an internet explorer person, it's all I've used for years; but I might have to change if these warnings about IE keep going round.
