Social networking platform KickApps is offering a new feature for its suite of solutions. Called Custom Community Insights, the new dashboard can be customized for each client to provide information about users, such as engagement with content and activities.
Clients will also be able to track user discussions, pinpoint influential users, and get a clearer idea on how users are interacting with each other for the purpose of grasping the overall attitude of their community. With the collected data, clients can then better align their own initiatives based on user sentiment, improving advertising, online activities and the facilitation of user interaction.
As KickApps provides tools for publishers to create social networks or add social networking functions to their existing sites, the biggest appeal KickApps has is its ability to offer direct communication channels between brands and consumers, as well as communication tools that consumers can use amongst themselves. It’s a form of market research that is catalyzed by traditional social networking methods specific to the online sector, and it’s a way that brands have been hoping for some time to optimize for this purpose.
The result is a data collection tool that translates into better ways of “influencing” the influencers, which in turn have a trickle-down effect to other consumers, as well as better ways in which user interaction can be levraged for improved branding and marketing campaigns.
One good thing about KickApps has been its dedication to extending the custom offerings it has for its clients. KickApps started out with a custom approach for its clients with an a la carte option among other things. Since then KickApps has expounded on its initial suite in order to provide things like a custom widget studio, an now a customizable dashboard for providing the analytics needed to carry out a successful social media branding campaign.
