Yes, school is one of the traditional brick-and-mortar, and Elluminate Fire and Ice is the assistive device on supplying its shortage, it’s an educational reform. Stace, you are a pioneer. Hope more and more educators can highlight the need of this digital learning sphere.

It seems like DC is heading in the right direction but I doubt the laid back geeks will ever want to start their enterprising start-ups in a highly bureaucratic place such as DC.

It is invigorating to witness huge change in thinking and understanding development taking place from such authorities in economics! From my social anthropology back ground, now course co-designer and co-instructor, I have the opportunity to share my lessons learned & anthropological elements with Caltech engineering students and design students form Art Center and Landivar University in Guatemala.

Didn't have time to read the criteria used in the Entrepreneur mag survey but noticed they documented whether a school has a business *plan* competition. Worth noting that Dingman goes to the next level and has a business competition (Cupid's Cup, underwritten by Kevin Plank, CEO.founder of UnderArmour) for actual revenue-producing companies rather than just business plans.

Look at the OPIM Major in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. www.msb.edu/prog/opim
It is just 5 years old, but has already launched several entrepreneurs, one of whom is a founder of LivingSocial.com, Tim O'Shaughnessy. Another is Will Wnekowicz, who cofounded Debatepedia.com and is now President and Founder of Altum Design Studios.
