Hi, Nick. As an attendee of the event I have to say that I am extremely grateful for AU's efforts at helping students, such as myself, with our startups. Several teachers have personally connected me to business colleagues of theirs for advice on my company and the career office is even going to get me two interns ... who can beat that? Perhaps we aren't Stanford in terms of resources but any help the university can offer is much appreciated.

Good post, Nick. I think there is a lot of opportunity for universities to do more in supporting their students' startup efforts. I think Stanford's VC Club is a good example with lots of potential: http://vc.stanford.edu/index.htm
